The shoulder seasons of late spring (May) and autumn (October) are off-peak, with fewer crowds and lower prices, but some facilities may be closed, and weather can be unpredictable. Major events include winter sports competitions and the traditional "Desmontegada" (cattle returning from alpine pastures) in autumn.
